Abstract

The can barrel end 3 is guided to the reducing face of the die-ring 7 by lowering the die-ring 7, and the shoulder part having a taper angle of 20W30° is molded. Furthermore, by lowering the center ring 10 and the die-ring 7, the can barrel end is pressed into the circumferential space 14 of the die-ring 7 and is reduced, and the half-molded neck part connected to the shoulder part 13 is plastically worked.
