Abstract

PURPOSE: Title resin composition that is made by adding rubber to an aromatic polyestercarbonate, thus having improved moldability and impact strength and being used in a wide range of areas.
CONSTITUTION: Said resin composition comprises (A) 100 parts by wt of an aromatic polyestercarbonate that is composed of the structural unit of formula I (X is difunctional group) and the other structural unit of formula II (X is the same as in formula I) where the molar ratio of residue of the dihydroxydiaryl compound, residue of terephthalic acid and carbonate linkage is 1:0.33W0.75:0.67W0.25 and (B) 1W50, preferably 2W40, parts of rubber. The rubber used is natural or synthetic one that shows rubber properties at normal temperatures.
