Abstract

PURPOSE: A resin composition having improved moldability and impact resistance, without degrading the properties of polyester-carbonate, comprising a polycarbonate resin and a specific aromatic polyester-carbonate.
CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by kneading (A) 100pts.wt. of an aromatic polyester-carbonate having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4W1.5, and the glass transition temperature of 160W190°C, consisting of structural units of formula I (X is bifunctional group) and structural units of formula II at a molar ratio of dihydroxydiaryl compound residue: terephthalic acid residue: carbonate bond 1:0.33W0.75:0.67W0.25, with (B) 1W120pts.wt., preferably 5W100pts.wt., of a polycarbonate resin, preferably the disphenol A-type.
