Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure an easy and high-precision adjustment/support for the split mirror surfaces of the parabola antenna by incorporating the screw directly into the fixing component such as the reflector framework and the like with installation of the nut and the eccentric washer between the fixing component and the screw and then adding the unit mirror surface panel component. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical axial screw 1 is inserted into the hole drilled previously to the support plate 4 sealed to the reflector framework, and then washer 14 and eccentric washer 13 are fitted is sequence across screw 11. Then nut 12 is fitted in the same way. Under these conditions, nut 12 is operated to shift screw 11 into the parallel direction to plate 4, i.e., in the circumference direction (X). Then washer 13 is operated to shift the contact to the lower surface of unit mirror surface panel 2 into the up-down diection (Y) and then the radius direction (Z). Thus the position of panel 2 is adjusted. After this, nut 12 is tightened. Panel 2 is then provided at the end face of the adjusted screw 11 as well as the outer circumference of washer 13. Then bolt set 15 is inserted into the fixed hole drilled to panel 2 and the pierced hole of screw 11 to secure fixture.
