Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable developing to be economically performed with a small amount of developing solution by providing a developing solution diffusion plate in proximity to transfer path toward the transfer direction of photosensitive material and spreading the developing solution evenly with this diffusion plate. CONSTITUTION:Roller pairs 11, 19 are for conveying of photosensitive material 16. A pipe 13 which supplies developing solution is extended in the width direction of the photosensitive material 16 between the roller pairs 11, 19 and a plurality of holes 20 for dropping the developing solution are provided to the bottom of the pipe. A liquid diffusing plate 14 is fixed at one end by means of fastening means 17 on the inlet side and is so provided that its free and approaches gradually to the transfer locus A toward the transfer direction of the photosensitive material 16. It is so formed as to elastically displaces only when the photosensitive material 16 is conveyed and sent to the guide surface thereof. Thereby, the developing solution is thinly diffused and because of the constitution wherein the state of the developing solution diffused on the photosensitive layer is maintained, developing may be accomplished economically and inexpensively with a small amount of developing solution.
