Abstract
PURPOSE:To feed power without causing no induction by supplying the power of a photo repeater by photo energy by making use of optical fiber for photo-signal transmission. CONSTITUTION:From feeding light sources PLI and PL2 of light wavelength (lambda2) different from light wavelength (lambda1) of a photo signal light source, photo energy is supplied to photo repeaters REP1 and REP2 via optical fibers F1 and F4 for photo- signal transmission. In the photo repeaters, branching filters D1 and D2 separate photo energy, from feeding light sources PL1 and PL2, from the photo signals and then supply it to photoelectric converters LE1 and LE2, whose electric conversion output is used as feeding power. Consequently, the terminal station and repeaters are connected by only optical fibers, which results in non-induction constitution.
