Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise strength without lowering the adhesiveness of plating and press processability by adding a specific amount of Mo to high tensile hot galvanized steel according to the amounts of Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, and Cu contained in the steel. CONSTITUTION:The steel contains 0.01 to 0.25% C, <1.0% Si, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn, <1.0% Cr, <2.0% Ni, <2.0% Cu, and 0.05 to 0.5% Mo, together with one or two or more of <0.10% Nb, <0.20% V, <0.10% Ti, <0.10% Zr, and <0.10% Al. However, Mo, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, and Cu contained are in the quantitative relationship Mo%>1/10(3Si% + Mn% + 4Cr% + 0.8Ni% + 0.8Cu%. The steel plate is galvanized, and then subjected to an alloying treatment by reheating to form a Fe-Zn layer on steel plate.
