Driving apparatuses 3,4,10 and 11 for U-axis, V-axis, X-axis and Y-axis respectively are controlled by a controller 20, which at the same time, commands the computer 19 indicating the positions of the upper guide 1 and the lower guide 5. Controller 20 also commands working power source 21 indicating the working data such as voltage and amperage to be applied, wave shape and the like in accordance with the value of length l to be inputted from the computer 19, thereby a uniformed groove width is available.
