Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the reduction of latency time by providing an interrupt judgement circuit so that an external information signal interrupts during forming of electrostatic latent images and the next latent image forming cycle is started in the composite apparatus having copying and optical printer functions.
CONSTITUTION: The images of the original 12 are formed as electrostatic latent images on the photosensitive drum 1 between a corona charger 2 and a toner developing device 3. On the other hand, a facsimile signal enters an optical fiber tube Z and the electrosatic latent images are formed on the photosensitive drum 1. When recording of the first information signal and second information signal is demanded simultaneously, whether copying or facsimile is judged (A) by means of a microcomputer and if copying, a copying cycle (B) is started. Next, whether there was an interrupt or not is judged (D) and if there is the interrupt, the above cycle returns to the recording cycle (C). In this way, when the facsimile signal enters during copying, it may be recorded in preference, thus the latency time may be reduced.
