Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the false lead-in and to secure the reproduction of the correct carrier wave by starting the divider to sweep the oscillation frequency of the voltage control oscillator when the differential frequency obtained through mixture exceeds the fixed level. CONSTITUTION:Part of the oscillation output of voltage control oscillator 6 is mixed 8 with the output of reference oscillator 9, and the differential frequency component is drawn out to be applied to counter 21 for counting of the frequency in a fixed cycle. Counter 21 generates the carry signal when the count value exceeds a fixed number, and the carry singnal is divided by divider 22. This division signal sweeps the control voltage of oscillator 6. Thus the false lead-in, if occurs, can be detected immediately to carry out sweeping in order to secure the reproduction of the correct carrier wave.
