Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a transient noise by providing a DC stopping capacitor with charging or discharging transistors differing in emitter area and by making them respond to transient voltage changes in voltage application to a feedback amplifier or its break. CONSTITUTION:In electric power feed, DC stopping input capacitor C1 and feedback capacitor C2 are both charged momentarily by transistor Q4 and transistor Q5 via input terminal 1 and feedback terminal 2 respectively and emitter area S5 of transistor Q5 is set double than emitter area S4 of transistor Q4. A difference in emitter-base forward voltage between both the transistors due to a difference in emitter area is about 18mV at the normal temperature being in proportion to the logarithm of the area ratio. The time until the stationary state is set is therefore momentary and potentials V1 and V2 at terminals 1 and 2 bear relation V2>V1, so that no pop sound will be made. Consequently, a transient noise can easily be prevented from appearing.
