Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent resin drooling owing to residual pressure by forming a movable space in a nozzle head and using it as a resin pressure reducing part when the nozzle leaves a metal mould. CONSTITUTION:If an injection cylinder 1 is moved backwards after filling resin into a metal mould 8, the main part starts to move first keeping the state of nozzle touch as a nozzle head 4 is pressed to a sprue bush 9 by a coil spring 6, a pressure removing part by a movable space 5 which is formed again in the nozzle head 4 is formed and residual resin pressure in the nozzle tip is reduced nearly to zero. By so doing, resin in the nozzle and also resin in the hot runner of the metal mould 8 are absorbed to the movable space 5, therefore, drooling from the nozzle mouth of the metal mould sprue does not take place.
