Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply corrosion-resistant coating which does not cause peeling and blister by coating the composition of synthetic resin powder for heat-resistant and chemical-resistant coating and specific flat form inorganic material on metal substrate surfaces and finish-coating the abovementioned resin powder thereon.
CONSTITUTION: The dry powder- or liquid-form composition composed of 100pts. wt. of synthetic resin powder for heat-resistant and chemical-resistant coating such as, e.g., polyphenylene sulfide and 5 to 50pts.wt. of flat form inorganic material of 20 or over in the area ratio of the area of maximum plane part/the area of maximum side face part and 20 to 3000μ in maximum length, e.g., mica or other, is applied as ground coat on metal substrate surfaces to 0.02 to 0.5mm thick. Next, the abovementioned synthetic resin powder is applied as finish coat on this ground coat to 0.2 to 2.0mm thick. This coating does not cause peeling in the recesses of small radii of curvature of the metal substrate surfaces and does not cause blister despite the use at elevated temperatures.
