CONSTITUTION:While X rays are generated by X-ray tube unit 2, the transmitted X-ray image of sample P is obtained through X-ray fluorescent multiplier tube II4. The output image of the II4 is converted into an electric signal by solid pickup elements 10a and 10b of optical system 9 and this conversion video information is converted into a video signal for TV by video signal control circuits 11a and 11b. Video signals output from those circuits 11a and 11b are signal-mixed by video signal synthesizer 12, whose output is displayed on TV display unit 8. Here, since elements 10a and 10b are so set that a picture shifted by half and interval of picture elements can be received, synthesis comes into effect with time delay equivalent to half the picture-element interval. Consequently, high space resolution can be obtained and images of boundary parts of picture elements of solid pikup elements disappear, so that easy-to-see pictures can be obtained.
