Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the powder of superior magnetic characteristic by depositing the specific amount of Ca atoms on metal iron surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: Ca components are deposited on the surfaces of the needle-form particle powder composed primarily of ion oxide or iron oxy-oxide, in such a manner that the atom ratio of Ca/Fe become 0.001W0.05, and this is reduced by heating to obtain the powder composed primarily of metal iron. For example, CaCl2. 2H2O 4.61g is dissolved in pure water 1l and α-FeOOH of grain size about 0.5μm 100g is suspended in this under stirring.
