Abstract

Thus, fresh water for cooling the engine cooled by heat exchanging with external seawater through the shell plating 12 of the hull during the time when the fresh water passes through a series of flow paths in the fresh water cooling tank 2 is supplied to the engine 1 by means of the fresh water pump 3, cools the engine 1 and is returned to the fresh water cooling tank 2 by means of the pipe 9.
