Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to operate a fan or a compressor always in a stable and economical manner, by shifting "surging" preventing line in response to the change in temperature of intake air.
CONSTITUTION: Maximum allowable pressure for a flow rate detected by flow detector 5 and produced as an electric signal from flow oscillator 6 is obtained as output signal of a first function generator 7. Through comparison of this output signal of function generator 7 and a signal obtained by pressure oscillator 4, opening of a blow-off valve 3 is controlled. Further, a temperature detected by means 8 for detecting the temperature of intake air is put into signal converter 9, and the temperature and a bias value are preset by function generator 10. With such an arrangement, a fan or a compressor can be operated in a stable manner by automatically varying the setting of a "surging" preventing line by biasing means 11 on the basis of the aforesaid preset values, and thereby shifting the "surging" preventing line in response to the change in temperature of intake air.
