Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of work steps and to obtain an easily buildable dot- matrix-type printing head, by integrally shaping a magnet housing and a wire housing. CONSTITUTION:A housing 13, which almost defines the contour of a printing head, is made of an electromagnetic material and comprises a magnet housing 13a and a wire housing 13b integrated with each other. The magnet housing 13a contains cores 19. Wire guide plates and wires are laid in the wire housing. Coils 20 are provided around the cores 19. One end of each of armatures 22, the number of which is equal to that of the cores 19, is rotatably fitted between a lid 21 and a yoke 18. Each wire 24 is inserted into holes opened through the wire guide plates 23 and has its top part 24a extending from the hole of one guide plate 23a. A spring 25 acts to the top part 24a to thrust the armature 22 toward a stopper 26.
