Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the joint section of the printing part of a nozzle from deviating from a printing position, by vibrating the nozzle when ink drops are separated and by slightly changing the amplitude or phase of a vibrating signal for ejecting the ink drops from the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:An electrifying pulse generation circuit 130 is controlled according to an optimal electrifying phase to determine electrification timing. For example, sixty-step codes are produced by an electrifying informatin signal generation circuit 140. Digital-analogue conversion is performed by an electrifying information signal amplfier circuit 150 to produce a step wave signal (a) of sixty-steps, for example. An AC or nozzle signal generation circuit 160 is provided. When ink drops to be deflected to the front end of the printing part of each nozzle are cut off from an ink column, the step wave signal (a) is received so that a signal (b) from the circuit 160 is superposed on the vibrating voltage of a vibrating circuit 170. As a result, another signal (c) is produced to appropriately change the amplitude or phase of the vibrating voltage which is applied to an ultrasonic oscillator 180.
