Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the obtaining of stable output despite microfluctuations of a rotating magnet by so constituting the circuits of the noncontact type rotational frequency detector which makes use of a magnetosensitive element or the like as to have hysteresis characteristics through intermittent supplying of an electric power source.
CONSTITUTION: In a signal detector 8 consists of a magnetosensitive element 1 which converts the change in the magnetic line of force of a rotating magnet 100 to electric signal and an output circuit 11, the symmetrical electric signals Q1, Q2 are formed along with the rotation of the rotating magnet 100. These signals Q1, Q2 are applied respectively to the noninversion input terminal (+) and inversion input terminal (-) of a comparator 3f and are compared at the intermitted application of DC voltage between terminals 5, 6. An output pulse synchronized with the electric power source pulse is generated in the output of this comparator 3f when the electric signal Q1 is higher than the same Q2. When this output pulse is generated, constant voltage is superposed on the electric signal Q1 only for the sepcified time exceeding said pulse after generation of each output pulse. Since in this way the circuit is so formed as to have hysteresis characteristic through intermittent supplying of electric power source, the stable output despite the microfluctuations of the rotating magnet 100 may be obtained.
