Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate variation of the duty cycle even to the input level change by giving the phase inversion to the input signal of the sine wave for comparison with the fixed voltage and thus generating the square waves of different phases for the mutual introduction to obtain the complementary output.
CONSTITUTION: The mutual connection is given between the nonreverse input terminal and the reverse input terminal of voltage comparison circuits 51 and 52 containing the IC-formed reverse input terminals. Then the nonreverse input of circuit 51 is connected to input terminal A, and terminal B and the reverse input terminal of circuit 51 are connected to the earth of the comparison voltage. With application of the sine wave input signals to terminals A and B, the square wave output are obtained at output E and F of circuits 51 and 52 with the reversed phase each. This wave output is then applied to set input terminal S and reset input terminal R of IC-formed FF53, and as a result the complementary output of the square wave is obtained at output terminals G and H each. The circuit is formed into an IC and varies equally to the change of the temperature, the power supply and others. Thus the steady output waveform featuring the duty cycle of almost 50% can be obtained with virtually no effect given due to the input level change and the like.
