Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the selective absorbing material of solar energy by forming an anodic oxidation film of 3μ or under on the Al surface of the specified purity, subjecting the same to electrolysis in an aqueous solution of the specific acid concentration and an aqueous solution containing metal salts thereby filling the specific metals in the fine pores of the film.
CONSTITUTION: After the Al surface of purity of more than 99.92% (Al of 99.92% may be made a skin material) is smoothed through mirror-surface finishing, etc., it is formed with an oxide film of 0.3μ or under (0.1 to 1μ are equally well) in an anodic oxidation bath composed primarily of sulfuric acid, thence it is subjected to AC electrolysis in an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid concentrations 0.1 to 30% and if necessary, added with 0 to 10% of sulfuric acid (it is effectual if it is further subjected to anodic electrolysis under the same conditions). Next, it is electrolyzed in an aqueous solution containing metal salts such as Ni, Co, etc., to let the corresponding metals deposit and fill in the fine pores of the anodic oxidation film. The above electrolysis uses Al as cathode in the case of DC and either may be used in the case of AC. This absorbing material has small radiation of solar energy.
