Abstract
PURPOSE: To minimize the frequency error between the local oscillation frequency at the sweep stop time and the normalized turning frequency by shifting the local oscillation frequency corresponding to the frequency error to the normal turning point previously in the direction opposite to the frequency shifting direction to give the search preset and setting the shift amount to zero after search preset.
CONSTITUTION: Counting 7 is started with operation of switch 5, and the output of pulse duration modulator 8 undergoes D/A conversion 9 to give sweep to the reception frequency in the form of the tuning voltage. The optimum tuning point of the AFC voltage is detected at AFC circuit 13 and control part 6 via more than one unit of the threshold voltage and though the reception of the broadcast wave. Thus the counting is stopped, and the output of counter 7 is memorized 4 with every reception of the broadcast wave. When switch 5 is operated with switch 14 turned off, the search preset action is detected to turn on transistor 15. And the divided voltage of resistance 19 and 20 is applied to tuner 10, and transistor 15 is turned off with ene of the preset operation with application of the divided voltage of 19 and 20. Then resistance 17 and 18 are selected with shifting decided in the opposite direction to the shift of the local oscillation frequency at the sweep stopping point. Thus the sweep stopping point is nearly identical to the local oscillation frequency at the normal tuning point.
