Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording method suitable for use in facsimile capable of performing a high-speed and less expensive recording by making uye of a pulse current, which is obtained by full-wave retification of a commercial A.C. electric current, as the power for the thermal head and the holding of the recording signal is made for each pulse after the detection of the holding voltage. CONSTITUTION:An A.C. commercial power is transformed to a voltage suitable for use in a thermal head 12, by means of a power circuit 26, and is full-wave rectified by diodes 23, 24. The resulted pulse wave is applied to the source terminal 2 of the thermal head 2. When the control circuit detects the cease of the period Ts and commencement of a period Tv from the signal from a voltage detecting circuit 27, an image signal 11 and a clock are applied to this circuit to trigger the thyristor of the thermal head. This operation is stopped as the image signal 11 corresponding to the dots of a required number is held. A heat generating resistance element goes on to generate heat until the next period Ts to complete the recording.
