Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to collect continuously sample gas by using an airtight reactor which has a sample liquid injection intake and sodium boron hydride solution injection intake and is equipped with a carrier gas lead-in pipe and generated gas lead-out pipe at its top and with an exhaust mouth at its bottom.
CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen arsenide generator, for example, for atomic absorption analysis consists mainly of reaction bottle 1 and reduced sample injection intake 2 and sample intake 3 are provided on its flank. Into the bottle, solution 4 of sodium boron hydride is previously injected from injection intake 2. An acidic arsenic solution is injected from injection intake 3 and hydrogen arsenide is produced through the reducing reaction.
