Abstract
PURPOSE: To lower effectively the concentration of NO in the exhaust gas, by contacting the exhaust gas containing NO with alcohols, aldehydes, formic acid or H2O2 in the presence of O2 and then by absorbing NO2, (HNO)2, HNO2, etc. converted from NO by the above process with the treating solution containing urea.
