Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the supercharge effect suitable for the engine by opening the supercharge port which closes later than main suction port toward the operating chamber of rotary engine while providing a valve which increases the open area as the increase of rotation in supercharge path.
CONSTITUTION: Main suction port 6 and supercharge port 13 open in the rotary direction toward the operating chamber 5a in the housing 1 where the rotor 4 rotates. Compressed air is supplied from a supercharge port 13 through an air pump 14, and it is regulated by a timing valve 16 provided in a supercharge path 15 at the downstream of pump 14. The opening of valve is constituted of small low speed through-hole 27 and large high speed through-hole 28 and exchanged by means of a centrifugal governer 35. Said valve 16 is interlocked with the engine and opens at the end of suction process. Furthermore a high speed through-hole 28 is conducted to a supercharge path 15 as the increase of rotation.
