Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the amplitude and phase characteristics of an electromagnetic wave synthesizing circuit by combining a circulator with an unreversible circuit with fixed transmission characteristics. CONSTITUTION:Between port P1 and circulator 1, unreversible circuit 3 composed of a reflective uniguide with a nonreflected input terminal and reflected input terminal is connected with its nonreflected input terminal confronted to the port P1 side and its reflected input terminal to circulator 1. As a result, an input of frequency f1 from port P2 is reflected at port P4 by unreversible circuit 3 and outputted from port P3. An input of frequency f1 from port P1, on the other hand, passes through circuit 3 without any loss and is outputted from port P3. Thus, no frequency selecting circuit such as BPF is used for the composition of outputs differing in frequency, and consequently neither amplitude distortion nor phase distortion is caused, so that amplitude and phase characteristics can be improved.
