Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish automatic suction and dripping from the tip of the nozzle by controlling the liquid agitated and agitation element moved in a liquid tank in an apparatus used for dilution of serum for the antigen-antibody reaction. CONSTITUTION:A liquid used for instillation is placed into a liquid tank 1 having a slightly inclined bottom and a groove at the end thereof. When the instillating apparatus starts, an agitation magnet 2 arranged at the bottom of the liquid tank 1 moves back and forth to generate a magnetic force. This magnetic force causes an agitation element 3 in the liquid tank 1 to move for agitation. After the halting of the agitation, the liquid tank base 4 moves up, the nozzle 5 is immersed into the liquid. Thereafter, with the lifting of the piston 9, the liquid is sucked into a suction pipe 11 from the nozzle 5. Then, with the lowering of the base, a carrier 13 carrying a tray 12 is moved and the piston 9 lowers so that the liquid is dripped into a hole 14 provided on the tray from the tip of the nozzle 5 facing thereof.
