Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the good metal film of superior adhesiveness free from pinholes, etc. by coating the liquid-form paint containing the metal powder and organic base binder of resepctively the specified melting points and non-carbonization temperature as essential components on the surfaces of the non-combustible substrate of Fe or inorganic material.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid-form paint containing metal powder of 180W700°C in melting point and grain sizes about 0.5W80μ [e.g., Al and Zn (alloy)] and an organic binder which burns with virtually no carbonization at 200W500°C (nitrocellulose, methyl-methacrylate-base polymer or the like) at (1W100)/(1W100), preferably (1W40)/(1W40) based on weight, is coated on the surfaces of a non- combustible substrate such as Fe or brick. Next, this coated film is heated to above the burning-away temperature of the organic base binder and moreover above the temperature at which the metal powder sinters, while being elevated of temperature at a rate of preferably about 20W60sec/100°C.
