Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent pressure changes in a head and obtain a stabilized printed image by a method wherein a pressing force of a piston in a reciprocated driving type pump is adjusted automatically in accordance with a pressure of ink in the jet head. CONSTITUTION:A pressure of ink in an ink jet head 5 is sensed by a pressure sensing means 13 and compared with a position of a set pressure in a control circuit 14 and when the sensed pressure is out of a range, a pressing force of a pressurizing spring 22 is adjusted by driving a pressing force adjusting means 15, and a discharging pressure of a pump 1 is adjusted, thereby, the ink pressure in the ink jet head 5 is kept in constant. Even though threr is a place such as a filter 4 and the like, where a pressure loss is varied with a lapse of time, between the pump 1 and the ink jet head 5, an ink jet pressure may be kept in constant in regardless thereof, therefore, a printed image may be stabilized.
