Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide rubber compsn. having improved vulcanization accelerating property and reinforcement property, by blending A-type zeolite with rubber compsn. for which white carbon as a filler is used.
CONSTITUTION: Not less than 0.3pt.wt., preferably 0.3W5pts.wt. of A-type Zeolite per 100pts.wt. of raw rubber is blended with rubber compsn. for which white carbon as a filler is used. When the amount of the zeolite is less than 0.3pt.wt., the effect obtained is unsatisfactory. When the zeolite is used in an amount of more than 5pts.wt., an additional effect will not be obtained. The A-type zeolite used is aluminosilicate hydrate of the formula (wherein M is monovalent, or polyvalent cation; n is 0W6.0) or anhydride thereof which can be obtained by dehydration. The zeolite used can be discriminated from other zeolites and silicates by X-ray diffraction.
