Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain superconductive magnets of uniform quality by inductively heating shorted-coil terminals in order to perform thermal diffusion. CONSTITUTION:When an induction coil 8 is conducted, an eddy current is generated in a coil 3 provided in the inside of said induction coil 8. Joule heat is yielded by the resistance of the induction wire of the coil 8, and inductive heating is performed. Since terminals 10 and 11 of said coil 3 are shorted, direct resistance heating by the mutual inductive current is carried out. By the heating from both sources, every portion of a conductor 1 is uniformly heated and the thermal-diffusion treatment of constituent elements of a compound semiconductor is performed, a compound-superconductor is uniformly formed, thereby a superconductive magnet having excellent characteristics can be obtained.
