Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy the adjustment and maintenance and to increase the reliability, by always detecting the symptom of oscillation in a closed loop control to enable to set optimum control gain automatically at all times.
CONSTITUTION: In performing gain control automation for a closed loop control unit, the state of the controlled object 17 is changed for control in response to the output of the gain variable amplifier 18 taking the control signal as the input signal. At the output side of the differential amplifier 15, the oscillation of frequency around the O dB gain is superimposed to the open loop characteristics of the control system. This phenomenon of oscillation is detected by HPF20 and the comparator 21 is fed to be in operating state with a given level or more to reset the FF22 with the detected pulse C. Thus, the up and down counter 24 performs subtraction to lower the control input voltage of the amplifier 18 and to stop the oscillation of the closed loop. FF22 is set with the pulse from the oscillator 19 to increase the gain and optimum control gain can automatically be set at all times to make easy the adjustment and maintenance and to increase the reliability.
