Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect boiler tubes from damage, by supplying pure water of very small oxygen content from a pure water tank to a waste heat boiler first and evaporating the pure water by the exhaust gas of a gas turbine in starting.
CONSTITUTION: A pure water tank 13 for storing pure water of small oxygen content is connected to the downstream side of a gland steam condenser 11 through a boiler early starting recycle valve 12. The pure tank 13 is also connected to the suction side of a condensate pump 10 through a boiler early starting valve 14. A supplemented water tank 17 is coupled to a steam condenser 8 through a supplemented water pump 15 and a supplemented water regulating valve 16. The supplemented water tank 17 is also coupled to the downstream side of the gland steam condenser 11 through a spill-over valve 19. The steam condenser 8 is equipped with an oxygen content detector 21 to detect the oxygen content of condensate and is kept under vacuum by a vacuum pump 22.
