Abstract

PURPOSE: To couple the front end of an electric wire to the rear end on a next bobbin and enable the continuous delivery of the wire from bobbins, by winding the electric wire supplied at a constant speed, around a bobbin so that the front end of the wire extends out along the flange of the bobbin.
CONSTITUTION: A moving wire 1 is held by a hand and wound by several turns around the body 3 of a bobbin. The wire is thereafter wound around its already wound portion on the body 3 by another hand while the wire 1 is retained by the outside 4 of the flange of the bobbin not to sag. As a result, the wire 1 does not sag on the body 3 of the bobbin. The wire 1 is then displaced down and wound in the same manner around a drum 5 outside another flange. The wire 1 is cut off near a bobbin flange go-over point. The wire 1 located on the body 3 and extending in front of the cut-off part is removed. As a result, the front end of the wound wire extends out along the flange 4 of the bobbin.
