Abstract

PURPOSE: To wind a linear material around a plurality of metal stems and continuously supply the linear material from the stems without twisting or entangling the material.
CONSTITUTION: Two stems 21, 22 are arranged at places A, B. The linear material 1 such as roughly drawn copper wire is wound around the stems. The rear end 1a of the linear material wound around the stem 21 is coupled to the front end 1b of the linear material wound around the stem 22. The linear material 1 is supplied through a guide 3 provided in desired position of the axis M1 of the stem 21. When the linear material wound around the stem 21 has been all supplied, the guide 3 is displaced to the axis M2 of the stem 22 and the linear material 1 wound around the stem 22 is then supplied. The time of displacement of the linear material 1 from the stem 21 to the other 22 is electrically detected to shift the guide 3 to continuously supply the linear material 1.
