Abstract

PURPOSE: To make changing the number of rotation possible without employing a complicated control circuit by providing electromagnets which generate rotating field on the inside and the outside of a rotor, respectively, and inserting a rotating shaft through the bearings and the center of the inner electromagnet.
CONSTITUTION: Electromagnets 6 and 4 which generate rotating fields are provided on the inside and the outside of a ring-shaped rotor 3, respectively; and, for example, a coil 5 for high-speed rotation and a coil 5' for low-speed rotation are installed to said electromagnets 6 and 4, respectively. A rotating shaft 1 is fixed to a wheel 2 provided at the bottom of the rotor 3, and inserted into bearings 7 and the center of the inner electromagnet 6. Changing of the rotating speed of the rotor 3 is performed by changing conduction of the high-speed coil 5 to and from the conduction of the low-speed coil 5'. In this constitution, the number of rotation can be changed without employing a complicated speed-change control circuit.
