Abstract

PURPOSE: To establish the photo electric converter having the compensation means of conversion distortion, by performing photo electric conversion operation in advance, measuring and storing the conversion performance and evaluating the photo electric conversion signal according to the result of measurement, when the original is not at read in position.
CONSTITUTION: The reflection light of the original 10 radiated with the illumination means 20 is incident to the photo electric conversion circuit 40 via the optical system 30. The output electric signal is fed to the correction circuit 60 via the amplifying circuit 50.
