Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent decline of machining precision due to deflection of a wire electrode, by correcting the deflection through interruption or retardation of feed at the time of changing the feed direction and then resuming machining. CONSTITUTION:A signal is sent from a distributor 11 to a control circuit 10 at the time of changing the direction of machining feed. The circuit 10 controls a power source 9 to reduce frequency of electric discharge, which reduces then pressure causing deflection of a wire 1 and subsequently corrects deflection of the electrode 1 quickly. Then the system resumes feed to proceed the next machining process.
