Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the assured decision for the scale of the heat source by detecting the output of the pyroelectric element after integrating, thus eliminating the malfunction. CONSTITUTION:Integrating capacitor 3 is installed to operational amplifier 2 connected to pyroelectric element 1, and switch 4 is provided in parallel to capacitor 3. Then switch 4 is turned on and off in the fixed cycle via electronic circuit 5, and the electric charge which is charged to capacitor 3 by the offset current of amplifier 2 is discharged. Thus the charge caused by the temperature change of element 1 is extracted to output end 7 in the form of the amount of integrating. As a result, a large amount of the output is caused to the large heat source although the output and the variation ratio may be small to the heat source such as the catch- fire of the match or the like which has a small amount of radiation for the infrared rays.
