Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the attenuation characteristics by providing the groove crossing to the longer direction of the substrate right under the surface wave propagation region. CONSTITUTION:Groove 8 is provided right under surface wave propagation region 7 covering from input electrode 2 through output electrode 3. Thus the bulk wave can be eliminated. To ensure more elimination effect, the plural number of grooves can be provided. The depth of the groove is decided in relation to the thickness of the substrate. Groove 8 is set most effectively at the center of the input and output electrodes in view of the propagation of the bulk wave. And the 2nd and 3rd grooves are provided preferably at the center between groove 8 and the input and output electrodes each. The depth of the grooves must be decided in consideration of the strength of the substrate.
