Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve greatly the frequency characteristics of the amplitude and the delay time by providing the dummy reflective grid featuring the equidistant spece between the grids or showing the opposite change to the variation of the grid space of the reflective grid across the reflective grid. CONSTITUTION:The elastic surface wave dispersion type delay line is composed of piezoelectric substrate 1, input converter 2, outout converter 3 and reflective grids 4-10 plus 11-17 (including the dummy reflective grid). The frequency characteristics of the amplitude and the delay time is impaired near the both ends within the frequency band only with grids 4-6 among 4-10, and so dummy reflective grids 7-10 are provided in order to improve the frequency characteristics for both the amplitude and the delay time. The dummy reflective grids used feature the constant space between grids or show the opposite change of the grid space to the change of the reflective grid which decides the frequency characteristics of the delay time.
