Abstract

PURPOSE:To elevate the working speed rate by inducing spark discharge by a high- voltage discharge power source in succession to a spark discharge by a low-voltage discharge power source. CONSTITUTION:When a switching transistor 4 is energized by a pulse signal from a gate circuit 7, the voltage of a low-voltage DC power source 1 is applied to the gap to induce spark discharge by a wire 2. The gate circuit 7 detects this spark discharge to disenergize the switching transistor 4 while a pulse is output from a gate circuit 12 to energize a switching transistor 11, whereupon the charges which have been given to a discharging capacitor 9 through a resistance 10 from a high- voltage DC power source 8 flow to the gap to induce spark discharge by a high voltage.
