Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the time of a transporting work, by means of allowing a fuel transporting line system between a reactor vessel and a storage tank of the outside of a reactor to be performed.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel transporting chamber 1 is set up extending over a reactor vessel 3 and a storage tank of the outside of the reactor 2, and transporting pot guides 5 are arranged at the both ends. A spent fuel pot receiver 11, a new fuel pot receiver 12, and a pot receiver 13 for fuel exchanger are set up at fuel convertors 14 at the lower part of a door valve 3. The spent fuel within the reactor is lifted by grippers 7, and is put in the spent fuel pot receiver 11 along a rail 10 within the fuel transporting chamber 1. Then, the gripper supplies the new fuel into the reactor via an inversed process by means of gripping a transporting pot 8 containing the new fuel from the pot 13 for fuel exchanger. On the hand, the delivery of the fuel is effected by an inversed turn by means of using a separate line, thereby the fuel exchange mechanism of the side of the reactor vessel 3 and the side of the storage tank of the outside of the reactor 2 can be operated at the same time.
