Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a catalyst with a sufficient compression strength and a high activity by supporting a catalyst activating substance on a product obtained process which comprises molding of a gel from a hydrothermal treatment of a solution containing basic Al salt and compound of Mo or W, a substitution of water for an organic solvent with the surface tension below that of the water, and a baking after a brief drying.
