Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the influence from temperature to hold stable accuracy by connecting at least two quartz oscillators having differenct temperature characteristics with one oscillatory circuit and by selecting the oscillators with a change-over switch. CONSTITUTION:Normally, a quartz oscillator Q2 for higher temperature is selected and operated by a switch circuit 2. Once the temperature is lowered, a temperature detecting circuit 3 detects the temperature to feed its signals to the switch circuit 2. In response to these signals, the quartz oscillator Q2 is turned off whereas a quartz oscillator Q1 for lower temperature is turned on. Thus, the disturbances in the frequency due to the low temperature are prevented to hold the stable accuracy.
