Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the cooling effect and to reduce the noise of an air pump by cooling the high pressure pump unit with the air delivered from the low pressure pump unit.
CONSTITUTION: An air outlet 12 of a low pressure and high volume capacity pump 10 is connected to a cover 21 of a high pressure pump 20 with a duct 50. When the low pressure pump 10 and the high pressure pump 20 are driven by a motor 30, the low pressure pump 10 draws air from the load through a suction duct 60 and delivers the suction air into the cover 21 through the duct 50 to cool the high pressure pump 20, thus providing a simple and effective cooling system for the high pressure pump 20 while reducing the noise of the high pressure pump by muffling effect of the cover 21 and the duct 50.
