Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the productivity for reproduction of the cathode-ray tube by giving the partial breakdown to the neck part of the cathode-ray tube, recovering a large amount of the atmospheric pressure within the tube via the slow leak to pull out the electronic gun and heating up the panel interface surface to clean the inside of the tube.
CONSTITUTION: The heat shock is given to neck part 1c of the cathode-ray tube to be reproduced to generate circular crack 7. Then the inside of the tube is decompressed by the slow leak down to a fixed degree of vacuum, and then the gas is exhausted with set of device 8. In this case, heater 10 is set on the upper surface of the panel part 1a to heat up the interface surface of part 1a, and thus the neck tube containing electric gun 4 is pulled out. After this, heater 10 is controlled to secure the temperature of the face surface within 50W110°. Cleansing nozzle 9 is then inserted into tube 1, and the tube is turned to cleanse the inside of the tube with the cleansing solution. Then the neck part is jointed newly. In this reproducing method, the dew condensation due to the cleansing water can be prevented within part 1a, at the same time avoiding the corrosive reaction between the getter and the fluorescent film and the like. Thus, both the productivity and the reliability are improved.
