Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a molded synthetic resin article having an embedded insert, by using a mold with beads enough high to fill up the gaps between the back face of the insert and the wall surface of the cavity to prevent the flow of the molding material into the top face of the insert.
CONSTITUTION: The insert 1 is set on the male mold 3 having the beads 11A. After closing the female mold 4, a molding material is injected from the runner 5, through the gate foot 8 and the hole 9 into the top face of the insert 1, and molded. The beads 11A prevent the flow of the material into the back side of the insert 1.
